it is critical that we reach our young people NOW with messages that will get them excited about health and fitness and provide them with tools to develop healthier lifelong nutritional and exercise habits. The “Get Fit!” Experience has been designed to do exactly that by communicating important health and fitness messages to large numbers of kids using exciting mediums relevant to their lifestyles. By utilizing these mediums and using the four major kid motivators (fun, freedom, power and belonging), “Get Fit!” becomes a personal experience for every individual who experiences the program. It’s also a conduit to promote other programs addressing this issue that might not otherwise have the resources to reach large numbers of youth throughout the country. The “Get Fit!” Experience has been created by the same team
that created the successful Go For It Road Show which traveled the United States for seven years helping young people understand the importance of living a positive and healthy lifestyle. During this time, the program was seen by nearly 4 million students in 43 states and 140 markets; and received accolades from teachers, students, parents and community leaders for producing “real” results in many of the young people who attended the program. “Get Fit!” is the continuation of that program, but with a strategic focus on relevant health and fitness messages. Our goal is to reach more than 1 million kids each year by visiting as many as 50 markets annually. It’s a proven and successful model that will create immediate and measurable results in the fight against obesity and the current health epidemic caused by obesity related disease and illness!
